Specimen Requirements

Specimen Required: Whole Blood.

Collect one 9 mL Lithium Heparin (green top) or three 4 mL Lithium Heparin (green top)

No gel

Store at Room Temperature

Must be received in the laboratory between the hours of 8:00 AM and 3:00 PM Monday-Friday only.

Not available on weekends or holidays.

Specimen must be processed the same day it is drawn.
