Test Code RUBELLAIGG Rubella, IgG (Immune)

Important Note

**This is a serum-only test**

Results <10 IU/mL are considered non-reactive for the presence of rubella IgG antibodies. Concentrations between >10IU/mL and <15 IU/mL are considered equivocal for determining immunity to rubella. A follow-up sample should be taken to further evaluate immune status. If the repeat sample is still equivocal, the sample may require testing by alternate methods. >15 IU/mL are considered to be reactive for the presence of rubella IgG antibodies and indicate acute or past infection or vaccination.
