Preferred: Whole Blood
Acceptable: Whole Blood
Specimen Volume: 1.0 mL

SPECIMEN PROCESSING and HANDLING

Remove air at time of collection and mix the sample thoroughly by rolling the syringe in a horizontal position.

TRANSPORT TEMPERATURE

Whole blood should be analyzed within 30 minutes of collection. Storing samples on ice is not recommended.
