**Specimen MUST be collected and transported on ICE to the laboratory, with plasma removed from the cells within 15 minutes.

**For WKCRL Clients that can centrifuge, but cannot aliquot, specimen MUST be collected in a Lithium Heparin PST tube and centrifuged and refrigerated within 15 minutes.**

1mL sodium fluoride plasma (gray top on ice)

 

Acceptable Specimen (For WKCRL clients that can centrifuge but not aliquot):

1mL Lithium Heparin plasma (MUST BE A LIGHT GREEN PST TUBE THAT IS SPUN AND REFRIGERATED WITHIN 15 MINUTES)

0.5mL plasma (volume does not include repeat or reflexed testing)
